Trades per Day Quota
Each subscription plan offers a different number of trades per day quota. To see how much of your daily quota is used, go to the ‘Account management’ page by clicking on your name at the top right. Scroll down to Usage & Quota. Your plan can be upgraded there.
What is a Trade
A trade that counts against the daily quota is any trade that opens a position or increases the quantity of an existing position, for each account. Adding to a position, per account, counts against the daily quota. The quantity of the trade is ignored.
Using a Flatten button never counts against the daily quota. A Flatten button can be found on many pages, and various locations.
Examples
#1. A signal to buy 10 contracts on the /ES occurs. That buy is sent to account XY123Z. This scenario counts as 1 trade against the quota, opening a position of 10 contracts on one account.
#1a. A signal to buy 2 contracts on the /ES occurs. The /ES already has 10 long positions. That buy is sent to account XY123Z. This scenario counts as 1 trade against the quota, adding 2 more to an existing position on one account.
#1b. A signal to sell 5 contracts on the /ES occurs. The /ES already has 12 long positions. That sell is sent to account XY123Z. This scenario does not count against the quota, removing 5 from an existing position.
#2. A signal to sell 3 contracts on the /CL occurs. The sell is sent to account XY123Z, AB234C, and MN5678. This scenario counts as 3 trades against the quota, opening a position on three accounts. One trade per account.
#2a. A signal to sell 1 contracts on the /CL occurs. The sell is sent to account XY123Z, AB234C, and MN5678. This scenario counts as 3 trades against the quota, adding to a position on three accounts. One trade per account.
#2b. A signal to buy 2 contracts on the /CL occurs. The /CL already has 4 short positions on three different accounts. The buy is sent to account XY123Z, AB234C, and MN5678. This scenario does not count against the quota, removing 2 contracts from an existing position.
